Latitude

Latitude book cover

Latitude: imaginary lines drawn around the Earth at intervals of about 110 kilometres seem like just a convenience for map-makers. But look at our world through the lens of latitude and you’ll find they have real meaning. Climates change, from the sun-drenched deserts near the Equator to the frozen lands around the North and South Pole. Animals, seasons, what materials are used to build houses all change, and the histories of the varying latitudes are all different, often shaped by the place on the globe in which they sit.

So come and travel the world from North to South, as Latitude shows you our planet in all its diversity in ways you’ve never considered before!
